We are back from Dallas and are ecstatic to report back to you upcoming trends, styles, and news for Prom 2011!!! The fashion forecast for next year's prom season is bright- color, sparkle, and patterns. Dresses will come in all lengths, but short styles will be particularly popular! Flirt's Spring 2011 Collection is bursting with a diverse range of colors, silhouettes, and fabrications. Vibrant hues of green, blue, and purple while traditional reds, pinks, and blacks were shown. Gorgeous designs- as always!

PAPARAZZI (Formerly known as Mori Lee Prom) Prom 2011 was inspired by Hollywood glamour and red carpet meets downtown couture. You'll find lots of beading, iridescent taffetas, tulle,modern-cut detals for flowers, ruffles, intricate embroidery and chunky jewels!

STICKS & STONES These short fun styles are perfect for prom! Brightly colored and heavily beaded, these dresses are adorrrrrrrable!




LAFEMME & GIGI

LaFemme's Collection was absolutely STUNNING! Let's just say we spent over 6 hours in their showroom- so you can imagine just how impressed we were with the line! Beautiful ombres, exquisite hand painted details, and luxurious jersey-knit gowns had us mesmerized!

GIGI- Has a whole new look for 2011 - leaving the sexier styles for LaFemme. Even Michael, LaFemme's CEO, couldn't even believe how brilliant the line was. He said it atleast 20+ times.. "This is GIGI!!! Can you BELIEVE this is GIGI!?!?!" (we shook our heads no) Hil-arious!

*Note* We think Michael will remember us next year!!! Seriously 6 hours.. blink blink blink.

Short, Sweet, and Sassy! Sherri Hill's Collection has a variety of different looks! From edgy Rock Princess styles with chunky broken mirrored beadwork (LOVE LOVE LOVE!!) to innocent yet classic bows and ruffles, you name it this line has it! Perfect for more than just proms! We bought TONS of short Sherri's this year! :)

We can't wait to see what Sherri's daughter Alisha has in store for her line- though we did pick up her fabulous shoe collection! (She didn't show at market b/c she is still fine tuning her collection)

Thinking of shopping online for your gown? Beware of the risk!

Many online shops are set up to prey on hopeful brides. They advertise deeply discounted prices on couture gowns, and brides think they have found a great deal. However, the risk is often greater than the dollars saved.

Online discounters will list gowns by popular designers such as Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley, Mori Lee, and Casablanca. They will show photos of gowns along with deeply discounted prices. Please remember that if something seems too good to be true, it usually is!!

Our designers do not associate with these types of discounters. By purchasing from one of these websites, you are at risk of not receiving your gown and therefore losing your money. We were recently notified about a couple different websites like these, which are fraudulently selling bridal gowns. None of the designers that are listed on these websites are connected with the actual designers. Companies such as these are taking advantage of brides, as well as the designers whose gowns they claim to sell.

Your wedding gown is a very important purchase! Please be sure you are dealing with a reputable company!! Otherwise you stand to lose your money and have no gown for your wedding day. You wouldn't be the first or second customer to walk through our door with this story. The money you think you are saving is not worth the heartache!
